The Department of Health sends out a form to County Councils (CCs) each year called the Self Assessment Framework (SAF). This form asks how far these CCs have got with the Autism Strategy.

When Lancashire CC receive theirs, the Lancashire Autism Partnership Board members collate this information, complete the form and return it to the Department of Health.

We are currently waiting for a formal announcement from the Department of Health about the arrangements for the completion of the new SAF.
